This band is made up of some of the biggest talents
from Florida's Space Coast, including Bryan Kezer and Simone Star.
MC2 came to LauberLand in March to record some of the tracks for their
newest release.
2008 HalfTime
HalfTime recorded an audio demo at LauberLand in mid
January, 2008. Jerry, Rob, Rick and Mike blend together nicely to re-create some
of the best tunes I've heard in a while, blending many genres together.
You can visit them here:

2007 Gina Ciciarelli
Gina Ciciarelli (13yo) and 5 of her girlfriends
(Megan, Tanna, Candis, Jessica and Daryn) came to Lauberland in September 2007
to celebrate Gina's 13th birthday by recording themselves singing along with their favorite songs! This
was a LauberLand Studios first! We had a great time while the 6 girls sang
to 12 different songs, and afterwards designed the artwork for their own audio CD!
This is a great idea for a fun and unusual activity on your birthday, and it's
very affordable!
2007 Matt Davis
Matt (16yo) came into LauberLand Studios in July 2007 to record an original
single he wrote called "I Can't Do Anything Right". The song is fantastic,
and Matt played the guitar parts and sang all the vocals. I layed down the
bass for him, and Earl Jones (15yo) from Deltona, FL layed down the drum tracks.
You can visit Matt at
Myspace.com/MattDaveMusic
2007 KayLynn Hebert
KayLynn came to LauberLand in June 2007 to record a 5
song demo. She has a very powerful and beautiful singing voice. In
fact, she is one of the best I've heard in the area. I was very impressed
by her ability. She will be using her demo to gain work singing at wedding
ceremonies. It was a pleasure to work with her and her husband, Eric.
They are both very talented and have great personalities!
2007 Simone
Bryan Kezer of
Kezer Corporation contacted me early in 2007
about tracking the drums for
Simone's summer CD release titled "Temporary
Heaven", and I was more than happy to be a small part of this awesome
project! The CD is just awesome, and Simone is a fantastic and talented
singer. Kevin McIntyre came to LauberLand Studios and recorded 10 of 11
first-time drum takes, and the 11th was a second-time-take! This is one
incredible drummer, and a hell of a nice guy. I attended the CD release
party, which was a huge success!
2007 Drout
Brian, the bass player from a band called
Drout, called me about doing a demo. The band
came in and recorded 6 tunes early in January 2007. They said they were
impressed with the studio and the sound they were getting, and talked about
coming back to record a whole CD later on. With Steven on blistering
vocals and guitars, Brian pounding out basslines and Shaun on the monster
TAMA kit, they are sure to gain a huge
following with their versatile style and talent! Keep your ears open for
this band from the Sanford, FL area!
2006 My Conviction
JD from
My Conviction contacted me in November 2006
about mixing 4 songs they had recorded at
Guesthouse Studios. After further
discussion, they have decided to begin recording their full CD here at
LauberLand Studios in early December 2006. The band is an awesome
blend of incredible talent and experience, and they will be playing shows around
Florida very soon. With
Don on lead vocals,
JD on the skins,
McVicker on bass,
Stephen on guitar and
Tom on guitar and backing vocals, this lineup
is writing some of the best stuff I've heard in a while! Keep your eye out
for this band!!!
2006 Substance
Scott from
Substance contacted me in October 2006 about
recording one of their songs at LauberLand Studios. They are now in the
studio (Oct 2006) working on their single titled "Done". This 4pc band
boasts 4 out of 4 Full
Sail alumni! These guys are serious, and they ROCK like they
are serious! Scott, Kyle, Adam and Chris all have very likeable
personalities and I would not be shocked if they were picked up by a label
immediately. They are writing fantastic original stuff, and I am proud to
be a part of it! They also play around the Orlando area at places such as
Oyster Bay, among other venues. I am looking forward to posting a sample
of the finished product on
here when the track is completed.
2006 Reckless Angel
Bob Schuster contacted me about doing a few songs for a demo CD that his band
"Reckless Angel" was working on. The band
came into the studio in September to record the first track titled "Sick".
With the powerful Bethany on lead vocals, Alicia pounding out the
bass lines, and Bob on guitars and backing vocals, this song is catchy and
hard-driving rock from beginning to end! I was honored to lay down the
drums for the recording. It was a pleasure meeting the band and
working with them was lots of fun!
2006 Pitbull
Entertainment
This talented group of
Hip-Hop artists approached me in early August to see about doing a song in the
studio. They were so impressed by the first session that they immediately
decided to do at least three more songs! I was blown away by their talent
and originality, which seemed to just flow from all three of them! You can
check them out at
www.MySpace.com/PitbullEnt.
2006 Elvis 2
Elvis 2 (Billy Lambert) came
into the studio with a time-sensitive project that he needed in a hurry.
He was making an Elvis parody CD for a birthday gift and the deadline was
closing in. We hit it hard for two nights in a row and completed his
6-song project with time to spare. You can learn more about Elvis 2 at his
website,
www.Elvis2.com.
2006 Paul Mantia
Paul is an exciting vocalist
from New York, now located near Orlando. He is a songwriter, guitarist,
singer, arranger and has tons of music flowing through his veins! He has
toured with Billy Preston, among other great names. Paul contacted me
about doing a recording at the studio and was so impressed that he will most
likely be doing his next full CD at LauberLand. Look for this name!
This guy is going somewhere!!! Check out Paul at his websites:
www.PaulMantia.com and
www.Myspace.com/Mantia.
2006 Lance Wright
Lance Wright is a gifted
Gospel singer/songwriter from the Orlando area. He has been working on his
12 song CD at LauberLand Studios for the past few months. I have heard
many singers in my day, but this guy has a gift, and a drive to spread his word
through his gift! I will be co-writing most of the music with him, and so
far it's working out pretty well. We'll keep you posted on the progress of
this project as it moves forward. Look for audio samples to be posted
soon!
2006 Kelly Navarre
Kelly is a beautiful and talented
singer/songwriter from Deltona, FL. Originally from
New Orleans, she has a
unique singing style that captures your attention immediately! Her voice
can just melt your heart, and did just that.... she is
now my girfriend!
Kelly recorded an original song
that she wrote titled "Just Believe" at LauberLand in 2006. You
can hear an mp3 sample of it
here.
2006 Yugene Smith
If you live near Central Florida, you've
probably heard of Yugene Smith. Yugene is a pianist, singer, songwriter
and performer from Rockledge, FL. Yugene is now retired, but would still
be playing if he were able to do it! I had the
distinguished honor of being Yugene's drummer for 3 years in Melbourne, FL.
He has graced the stage with some of the world's most legendary jazz and pop
personalities, and is also known for recording the very first "super sonic stereo" record for
GONE Records (Now Rhino Records) back in the 50's.
"Groovin' at the
Embers" is still for sale worldwide even
today! Yugene came to LauberLand in 2006 to record a beautiful song he
wrote when he was young titled "Roses". You can hear the mp3
here.
2005 Bryan Kezer
Bryan is an amazing pianist, vocalist,
songwriter, drummer and performer from
Melbourne Beach, FL. I first met
Bryan when he joined my band "The Wunderdogs" in 2004. He was simply an
incredible energy onstage and off! Bryan approached me while working on
his solo CD. He wanted me to lay the drum tracks to some original music he
had already recorded. Only one catch... I had to do 8 songs in
less than a week! He wanted to shop the CD in the U.K. during a tour
overseas! Needless to say it was hurried, but we got the job done, and I
will post a tune in the audio sample section. Bryan is now owner of
Kezer Corporation, a webdesign and media
company located in Melbourne Beach. Sadly, The Wunderdogs disbanded in
early 2006.
2005 Jimmy C
Jimmy C is a professional karaoke performer
from
Deltona, FL. Jimmy located LauberLand when he saw Terminal Frequency
loading gear into the studio. Jimmy recorded an amazing 12 songs to his
own stereo karaoke tracks in a record 3 hours without error! The tunes
ranged from
Elvis to
Frank Sinatra to
Jerry Lee Lewis. His vocals are just
incredible, and I spent most of the mix down time cleaning up the karaoke tracks!
He was delighted with the final product and uses the demo to get gigs singing at
venues around Florida.
2005 Terminal
Frequency
Terminal Frequency is a talented thrash-metal
band from
Sanford, FL. The band found LauberLand through mutual
band-member/friend David Roberts. Dave played bass in the band and was
instrumental in the band's organization and drive. They recorded 3 songs
at LauberLand Studios during 2005. They were also the first band I worked
with other than myself in the new studio!
2004 Linda Lauber-Jones
Yes, Linda is my dear sister! Linda was one of
the very first to record with me, and her original song titled "Keep On Tryin'"
was recorded in my apartment studio in Sanford, July 2004, when LauberLand was
still just a dream! The song has great potential, and I look forward to
working with her again! You can hear the song at
MySpace.com/LindaLauberJones and also at
Garageband.com/LindaLauberJones. Good
luck to you, sis!
